I am a 28 year old cross country skier and I feel great joy in progressing and being active every day. Through the support of my main sponsor and employer ABUS I can combine a professional skiing with a job career and I'm incredibly thankful for this opportunity.  I see this as a heavenly gift and I want to treat it with greatest responsibility - making this a journey of passion and joy! I hope you enjoy following my journey and reading about my daily life and some of my smaller and bigger adventures.

I have been an outdoor and adventure kid from the moment I was born. When I was 12 years old I decided to try out cross country skiing. The combination of playing in the snow and feeling free to go wherever I wanted to, immediately won my heart. Cross county skiing became my most favorited activity and soon playing also turned into competing. I had to realize that cross country skiing is a really tough sport, but one that I truly loved and this paved the way for progression.  From 2012 to 2014 I got the chance to study at the University of Alaska and ski for their college ski team. Returning to Europe as an NCAA Championships silver medalist, I wanted to give it a shot back home in the Alps. It took some patience and hard work again and last year I could finally make one of my big dreams come true: winning my home race, the König Ludwig Lauf. I am grateful for the support of my family and many other people around me. People who  guided, coached and inspired me ... and I want to share this inspiration with others.
